For five years, Sue Rock Originals has pursued a higher mission -to support and encourage women who leave the cycle of abuse by providing them with new clothes and an opportunity for self-sufficiency.

Since receiving our current studio, we have held weekly sewing and crochet classes, continued to receive fabric and materials donations and created a Domestic Violence Empowerment Program which provides textile training to domestic violence survivors. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we successfully rallied over 200 volunteers at our studio to create 250 skirts for Haitian refugees.
The Press and Radio responses have been fantastic, as daily people come to learn and experience Sue Rock Originals
